The Exploding Boy

from The Man's a Freak by The Weary Band

/

about

Recorded and produced by the band on tape.

lyrics

No'one ever notices me.
I'm not the kind of person anyone sees.
I sit in shadows in the morning sun.
I don't like any thing or anyone.

I let you feel good about yourself.
I know this malady's no good for my health.
I wish there was another one like me.
Then we'd be happy in this misery

without you all saying it's just a phase
everyone goes through.
It should pass someday.
I hope that's true.

My only friend's are going away.
They let me come around the other day.
They told me that I wasn't looking so great
and then nobody had nothing to say.

So I left early and I went for a stroll
down by the railway and the Hollywood Bowl.
The sky was orange and the wind it did blow
and I felt guilty of the things I know but never show.

Every night I go
into a deep, deep sleep.
And I dream I know
everyone I meet.

Every morning I reload
Every evening I explode.
